Synopsis: Longfellow, the blue wiener dog, performs in concert singing the “Wiener Dog Blues” in front of a packed stadium of adoring animals. This short movie written and directed by Linda Shayne brings joy to young kids and adults and offers healing and humor through music and animation.

Meet Linda Shayne

Linda Shayne is American / Canadian (dual citizen) writer/director of animation and live action for TV

& film. She graduated with highest honors from the University of California at Berkeley and recently wrote a children’s book, illustrated by Emmy winner Art Leonardi.
Shayne has written for Showtime, Quincy Jones, Imagine and has directed for Nickelodeon, Paramount and Warners.

Synopsis: A story of a young girl in ancient Greece between ripening and mystery of first love. Based upon “Les Chansons de Bilitis” by Pierre Louys (1875-1920).

An exploration of the places your imagination can take you while listening to music. This film is an adaptation of Timothy Broege’s musical piece “Sinfonia VI” and was originally shown while the musicians of the Kelowna City Concert Band performed the music live on a stage underneath it. As film makers, we were also greatly inspired by Walt Disney’s 1940 film: “Fantasia”.
