Synopsis: Year 2024. We are in a loneliness and crowd at the same time. After the new coronavirus pandemic, Celso, a young Port employee, lives in a parallel reality. He behaves like a robot and is fond of a Sex Doll, ignoring everything around him, including Emma, his wife. She divides her days among her job as a librarian in a School for the deaf, her attempts to bring Celso back to reality and weekly seasons of Sadomasochism with an elderly woman. Stuck in this dysfunctional routine, they must face each other and ask: will we drown together or will we finally plunge into a new life?
Meet Manoel Fernandes Neto
MANOEL FERNANDES NETO, 40 years old, is from Paraíba and was born in João Pessoa, capital of the state of Paraíba, northeastern Brazil. He has a degree in Cinema and Audiovisual at UFPB (Federal University of Paraíba).
As director, he directed the short films: “Os Alquimistas de Camalaú”, Documentary. 2011; “Coletivo de Multidão”, his first fiction 2021 (in release) and will soon release his first feature: The Republic of the Jungle, Fiction. 2022.
As a producer, he will produce the feature film “Fúria”, 2022,
1st semester 2022 and Series A Invasion in 2nd Semester 2022.

Meet Bruno Ballouard
Born in 1966. Self-taught.
In addition to his work at Paris City Hall, he
passionate about cinema. In his forties, he decides to
get into writing and directing.
He wrote and directed two short films, MICHELINE (2009)
and JOHNNY (2011) and a feature film, LILI ROSE (2014).

Meet Anthony von Seck
Canadian based filmmaker Anthony von Seck is a thirty-year veteran of the Canadian filmmaking scene, having started out in music videos in the early nineties, winning awards at MuchMusic for his independent and quirky style. Von Seck developed as a professional cinematographer, shooting music documentary and feature work around the world. Documenting high-profile artists like Drake, and Ziggy Marley, winning a Canadian Juno Award for his feature directorial-debut documentary Look At What The Light Did Now, for Canadian artist Feist.
Von Seck has recently produced two independent short films, Limbo and The 100TH Victim, exploring his unique style of dirt noir thrillers. Both films are represented by Aug and Ohr Agency in Germany. The short films have played in over 50 festivals internationally, winning Best Short, Best Screenplay, Audience Award and Best Actor and Supporting Actor awards.
Von Seck most recently wrapped production as Cinematographer and Lead Editor on the Apple+ TV series, Long Way Up, starring Ewan McGregor and Charley Boorman.
